What types of business does Maxum insure?

Maxum has four main underwriting divisions which focus on insuring the following types of risks:

The Binding/Programs Division focuses primarily on small-to-medium sized risks. Target classes of business include mercantile, premises exposures, service providers, restaurants, bars and taverns and commercial artisan contractors.

The Casualty Brokerage Division focuses on severity driven risks. Target classes of business include manufacturers, service operations and specialty contracts.

The Professional Liability Division focuses on smaller professional firms. Target classes include Allied Medical, Architects and Engineers and Miscellaneous Errors & Omissions.

The Transportation Division focuses primarily on owner-operators for small trucking risks. Coverage is available for motor carrier liability, physical damage and cargo.
