Maxum's Binding/Programs Division offers more than just great products and services; it offers a team of dedicated and skilled underwriting professionals. This hard-working Binding/Programs team is led by Norma Dickson.
The Binding/Programs Division markets their products on a non-admitted basis through a select number of general agents and program administrators with defined underwriting authority.
With less than 50 current general agency appointments, Maxum seeks to appoint only highly qualified general agents that have a high degree of underwriting and marketing skills to represent Maxum in specific geographic territories.
The focus of Binding is writing primary general liability, smaller packages, inland marine and a limited amount of miscellaneous professional liability on small-to-medium sized risks that the standard market typically avoids writing. Tougher business
is also considered, and we have begun offering tailored specialized authorities to our general agents.
The focus of Programs is liability and/or packages for businesses with similar but highly specialized activities. Maxum Program Administrators have proven track records in profitable underwriting and marketing of program business. We are actively seeking new and profitable programs.
